The director of strategic engagement and communications serves as the organization's senior leader responsible for marketing, communications, audience development, public relations, brand management and engagement strategy. This position develops and oversees the organization's efforts to increase awareness, strengthen community relationships, expand participation, grow audience engagement and support revenue-generating initiatives.
The director provides strategic leadership for all marketing and communications activities, establishes organizational goals and performance measures and ensures that engagement efforts align with the mission and long-term objectives of the organization.
Community Engagement Representative (Multiple Positions)

The community engagement representative is responsible for representing the organization at community events, performances, exhibitions, competitions, educational conferences and other outreach opportunities. This position serves as the primary in-person ambassador for the organization, helping increase awareness of programs, generate prospective performer leads, promote upcoming opportunities and support merchandise sales.
Working under the direction of the director of strategic engagement and communications, the community engagement representative creates positive first impressions, cultivates relationships with prospective performers and families, and helps expand the organization's visibility throughout the community.
This position plays a critical role in advancing organizational growth by connecting directly with prospective performers, educators, families, alumni and supporters. This position primarily works evenings and weekends.
Creative Services Coordinator

The creative services coordinator is responsible for developing and maintaining the visual assets that support the organization's marketing, communications, engagement and branding efforts. This position creates compelling graphics, digital content, promotional materials and branded assets that increase awareness of organizational programs, strengthen audience engagement and support performer growth and merchandise sales.
Working closely with the director of strategic engagement and communications, the creative services coordinator serves as the organization's primary visual designer, ensuring consistent and professional presentation across all communications channels.
The position plays a critical role in helping the organization increase visibility among prospective performers, strengthen community engagement and enhance the overall perception of the Convergence Performing Arts, Inc. brand. These responsibilities align with the organization's goals of increasing awareness, growing participation and expanding engagement through digital platforms.
Media Production Specialist

The media production specialist is a contract position responsible for capturing, editing and delivering high-quality photo and video content that supports the organization's marketing, communications, engagement and storytelling efforts.
Working closely with the director of strategic engagement and communications and creative services coordinator, the media production specialist documents performances, rehearsals, auditions, educational activities, community events and organizational milestones. The content produced by this position serves as the foundation for social media campaigns, marketing, website content, promotional materials, donor communications and organizational storytelling.
The successful candidate possesses strong technical skills, a creative eye for storytelling and the ability to showcase the energy, excellence and community that define the organization.
Battery Caption Head, Percussion

The battery caption head provides instructional, artistic and operational leadership for the battery section. This position is responsible for developing performers, supervising battery instructional staff, implementing program design and ensuring the battery consistently achieves the educational and performance objectives of the organization.
Working collaboratively with the program director, design team, and instructional staff, the battery caption head helps create a positive, performer-centered environment that promotes excellence, accountability, personal growth and competitive success.
Quad Specialist, Percussion

The quad specialist is responsible for the instruction, development and performance achievement of the quad section within the indoor percussion program. This position serves as the primary educational resource for quad performers, focusing on technical development, musical excellence, performance consistency and the successful implementation of the ensemble's educational and competitive objectives.
Working collaboratively with the program director, battery caption head, battery staff and design team, the quad specialist helps create an environment that promotes performer growth, accountability, discipline and high levels of artistic achievement.
Bass Specialist, Percussion
